While many restrictions are similar to other clubs, the level of enforcement usually parallels the quality of the venue, staff, and service. However, it isn't uncommon for two people wearing the exact same outfit to get a different reaction at the door. At the end of the day, it is always up to the doorman's discretion. If you don't feel confident that you fall within our expectation, play it safe; follow these few guidelines and you should be good:
A crisp and clean look to start. Just because your shirt has a collar or your wearing a sports jacket, does not guarantee your admission. When arriving at The Lounge, the lights at the front door reveal everything--every crease and wrinkle--so don't just pull out that XL Burberry polo out of the bottom of your drawer or that Ralph Lauren blazer out of your trunk thinking that it'll get you in just because it's "designer".
Wear the pants that fit you best. If that means you have to wear dress pants, wear them, but they're not necessary. That being said, if you are going to wear jeans, make sure they are tailored, not sagging, and not too ripped.
DON'T expect to get in if you're wearing any of the following:
Baggy jeans, Athletic Gear, Shorts (mostly applicable to men), Cutoffs/Capris, Hats/Beanies, Sandals; don't wear sunglasses. Leave those at the beach.
And ladies, we expect you to dress and carry yourself like ladies.
You can be the best dressed person in the world, but if you bring the wrong attitude, it will be standing outside with you.
